WELCOME TO FBCSD!
We'd love to have you join us this week at our 10:30 am service. When you visit, come as you are, you'll find people just like you who are happy to see you here. Before the service, enjoy some coffee and conversation, then come on in for our service, which lasts 60-70 minutes typically.
When you arrive, stop by the Blue Tent for information or help in finding what you need. We have Nursery care for kids 0-1yrs. For mothers of newborns, there is a cry-room in the back of the auditorium provided so that you can participate in the service with your baby. The cry room is located directly across the hall from our nursery. For kids 2 years old up to the 5th grade, we offer a fun and interactive Kid's Church at 10:30 am, located in the lower level of the Fellowship Building. Just follow the colorful footprint path from the Blue Tent to the Kid City Station! Everyone 6th grade and older joins together in the service.
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
1. Attend a Montly Newcomers Lunch (FREE LUNCH!)
2. Come to Sunday Night Connect or the FBC Cafe on Sunday morning.
3. Connect in Ministry and Freindships and Mission.
We want to make it as simple as possible to get connected with other people just like you, in Meaningful Relationships, Meaningful Ministry, and Meaningful Gatherings.
The first step, other than coming to the 10:30 am service, is to come to our monthly "Necomers Lunch." This is a great opportunity to meet the church staff and other newcomers to FBC and to learn more about the church. Also, our "Newcomers Class" is held periodically that will spend more time helping you know about our church, beliefs, structure and membership! (Check the weekly bulletin for times).
Then, join our Communitry Groups at Sunday Night Connect, this Fall. Something for everyone to connect, including kids, every Sunday night through November 23. Also, you can join the FBC Cafe at 9am each Sunday, usually right outside on the patio, unless it's too cold, then the Cafe moves inside. The Cafe is for everyone, specializes in welcoming newcomers and helping them connect. The topics of discussion vary and are meant to be engaging and missional.
You can get connected into Community Groups, which meet during the week and launch every January, May and September. Plus, you are welcome to all of our special events and mission opportunities - all of which are designed to help you get to know others as well as do great things!
