Church Pastor

Matthew Adrian

Matt has been a part of First Baptist Church of San Diego since July 2023. He is passionate about helping people take the next step in their spiritual journey. He believes that faith should be both meaningful and relevant, and he strives to communicate the Bible and Jesus in a way that is both deep and engaging.

Matt is also committed to creating a church where people feel comfortable and known. He believes that the church should be a place where people can come to grow in their faith, connect with others, and make a difference in the world.

Matt and his wife, Jenn, have three children: Katherine (born 2017), Elizabeth (born 2018), and Timothy (born in 2021).

Children’s ministry Director

Jill Colon

Jill Colon has attended FBC since 2012. She became the Children’s Ministry Director in 2019. Jill has a heart & talent for engaging children and families while teaching God’s word.
